There is no option for a capsule case with removable bottom for docking?? That is extremely disappointing. It looks like the same might be true for the iPad case?
I absolutely LOVE my Uncommon capsule 3G/3GS case, and have gotten many compliments on it (although I had to take that puffy logo sticker out so that it worked properly.) I was really looking forward to purchasing an iPhone 4 case from you, but now I am not so sure.
The Trooper case is the only one I would consider based on aesthetics, but it is very disappointing that I wouldn’t be able to use a dock with it. I am also hesitant to get a soft case as I generally don’t like the way they feel, they pick up dirt easier, and they have a tendency to slip around on the phone… allowing dirt to become trapped easily and some flexible cases even switch the phone into silent mode unintentionally due to the slippage.

Really need that removable bottom and while I REALLY love my current 3GS case, I’m not sure I will purchase the new iPhone4 if I can’t get that removable bottom. I put my phone in my alarm clock dock and I’m afraid that without it, it would be difficult to be convenient.

I’m going to be patient. I have a bumper case currently, but would like to make my own. From the looks of their current line, I like what I see. uncommon you make some of the best cases, but its been killing me about your iphone 4 case i know you guys say you are having a problem with the flash being limited LIKE ALMOST EVER OTHER IPHONE 4 CASE. i dont feel how this is holding your case up. Here’s what I’m doing in the meantime. I’m getting my artwork ready, I’m working on some designs, and I’m going to add them to the gallery, once they have it all ready to go. I’ll order one (or two) to see how they turn out. If they turn out like I hope, then I’ll add the rest of what I’ve been working on. The time can be spent working on making some really beautiful, and you can share your own artwork with others when they purchase something you’ve created. As I’m sure Uncommon can tell you, allowing for such customizability is not something to take lightly. I mean, really, stop and think about it for a moment: Would you buy a half-painted Mona Lisa, or half-drawn Lichtenstein? You might, but I know I wouldn’t.

I was lucky because my brother kept switching iPhone4 cases, so he’s been giving his "rejects" to me. I do drop my phone every now and again, but it’s only happened once to my iPhone 4, so until Uncommon comes out with these cases I think I can wait.
I also don’t see what the big deal is about buying another case to supplement yourselves until these cases [I’m eying the Capsule] are released… Better to have a backup in case your primary fails, right? Just offering my two cents.

iPod Touch Capsule Case: This case is ready to go and shipping now! If you pre-ordered a case you should receive it soon, if you haven’t already.
iPad cases: Our first iPad case will be launching by late September. It is a one-piece, snap-on hard case and it looks amazing! We will have product images available on our website soon. The iPad Capsule Case will not be produced at this time.
iPhone 4 Loop: The flexible TPU case will be for sale in mid-September. The Loop comes in six colors, shows off both sides of your iPhone, and is only $19.95.

None of our cases have a complete covering over the front of the case. Our iPhone 4 Deflector Case that we just launched should work with most screen protectors though. To remove the iPhone 4 Deflector Case it works best to put your phone face down on a soft surface, such as your lap, and then lift up the edges along the volume button edge. It should come off very easily that way!
We do not have a specific date on the iPhone 4 Gallery case yet–it will be available later this month.

I have your floral case for the iphone 3gs which I purchased at Target several months ago. I can not remove this case from my phone. I have tried everything. I have even had the ATT tech at the ATT store try to get it off and no luck. I saw an earlier post about this problem with the iphone 4 defelector case and tried that solution but no luck.

Sometimes if particles or debris get stuck between the case and the phone, it can make it tricky to get the case off. We recommend using a rubber glove or pot holder to remove the case. If you continue to have issues removing the case, email us at hello@getuncommon.com and we can help.
