CloseHey there. Uncommon just got back from MacWorld, which I would have to call a smashing success. Thanks to all that came out to the booth and saw what we were about. Here’s some coverage from MacLife Magazine. Check it out!
We’re down at Macworld this weekend with a sweet booth, a ton of Uncommon cases and a shiny, new Uncommon iPhone app. If you’re here, come find us. We’re the ones with the raddest iPhone cases on the Planet.

Hey there,
Happy Friday. Here’s a photo of something extremely Uncommon. In fact, I can’t even begin to explain to you what is going on here. The photo is courtesy of my friend Chuck White. The Uncommon subject here appears to have goldfish bowls somehow attached to his moustache. He definitely has some low-grade breast implants going on, and a multi-tiered doll-covered hat. This guy is really getting after it, Uncommon style. Kudos to you, Mr. Goldfish Face. You, my friend, are 10000% Uncommon. Happy Friday.
Ryan
A classic “Uncommon” scene from the movie “Miracle”. Check out 6:12-6:19! Thanks to my pal Jennifer Birch (wife of my pal Alex Birch) for sending this to us.
Come on people. Get Uncommon! Be like Kurt Russell!

Nick LaVecchia is an Uncommon artist. Check out his Uncommon profile here. He routinely hops into freezing cold water in places where even fish dare to swim, to get the raddest, most unique surf shots possible with a lens and water housing.
Nick and some friends recently launched a website called Get In The Van. GITV has quickly earned a reputation for great images and video that are not only beautiful but help tell stories from all over the globe from the tiniest natural details to the largest monster waves.
The new GITV site is completely home-built on a shoe-string budget, while the GITV crew manages the content, community, look and feel of their new home on the Internets. The content is always fresh, always fun and always inspiring. So come back often to see what surfing with friends should be about.
You can Get In The Van here: http://www.getinthevan.com.

Steve and crew unleashed the long-awaited iPad tablet today, amidst much fanfare. It seems to be like a big iPhone, and it’s going to be cool. Lots of room to grow here, but you can put me on the list of people who would like one. Rest assured that we here at Uncommon are now in mid-scramble to get the iPad cover in place. Stay tuned, as we hope to have this on the site next week and hope to have this available when the iPad is available: 60 days from now. It never hurts to be prepared, right? Log on next week and start to configure your iPad cover designs. Make your iPad Uncommon even before it’s on the market.

Haiti needs our help. The loss of life and infrastructure is staggering, and the recovery efforts are going to take years.
Uncommon has created a Haiti Relief iPhone Case Collection and will donate all profit to the Red Cross. The collection includes graphic and viral message designs inspired by this tragic event.
The Haitian Market case is sampled from the vibrant colors and market life of Haiti and abstracted through fracturing but rebuilt into a beautiful new pattern. The “Text 90999” call-to-action cases keep on giving after purchase and remind friends and strangers how easy it is to simply donate $10 during the long rebuilding period ahead for Port au Prince and surrounding areas.
We are also asking our network of the top contemporary artists to add to the collection over the next few months. The suffering and long-term recovery in Haiti will go on for years and with your help we hope we can make a substantial donation towards relief.
100% of profit from cases in the Haiti Collection will be donated to the ongoing efforts.
If you have other ideas for how Uncommon can help please contact us at “hello@getuncommon.com”.
The people of Haiti thank you for your support.
Best regards,
TATTBOT™ 3000 and the Uncommon crew

To that one lone person in Algeria who has been to www.getuncommon.com we totally salute you. Stand strong my brother or sister.
Thank you for being totally Uncommon!

Last week TATTBOT 3000 and crew went to Vegas for the 2010 Consumer Electronics Show. The Consumer Electronics Show (CES) is friggin’ huge. I mean huge! It was our first show, and it was quite a doozy. A real success to be sure. We saw a lot of good friends and made some new ones. There are now many people rocking Uncommon cases that were not the week before, which is cool. Thanks for the support!
Other highlights of the show: 3D T.V. means wearing glasses in your living room. Not sure I back that. Tablets are coming, but they aren’t here yet. There are about 100 major TV companies out there that you have never even heard of. Who knew? There are also a lot of breast implants out there, but this I guess we already knew. Vegas = Totally Uncommon. Losing money in the slot machines quicker than you can even think about = totally common.
Generally, we had a good time, people loved the stuff, and we got a lot of business done. Thanks to all those folks who rocked Uncommon at CES and we look forward to seeing you (some of you?) at MacWorld in San Fran next month!
