Lisa DeJohn

California based artist Lisa DeJohn draws from a variety of influences for her work, the strongest being nature and the arts. Lisa’s early life was inspired by her mother, an artist immersed in creative endeavors and her father, an avid outdoorsman, who was acutely aware of the subtleties in nature. A trait Lisa credits with creating her deep interest in the nuances of her surroundings. 

In the years since she began her career, Lisa’s work has flourished to also include illustration and surface design. She continues to be prolific with her fine art and has shown in solo and group exhibits for over a decade from Portland, Oregon to London, England. Her art has been featured in The Boston Globe, Elle Decor and Marie Claire Italia.  Her work has also been highlighted in numerous web blogs such as Design*Sponge, Decor8, Vogue.com, Art Esprit, Apartment Therapy, Print and Pattern, Paper Crave and Bloesom just to name a few.

Lisa Currently lives in southern California with her husband and their two chihuahua terriers. She continues her career as a fine artist and illustrator and is continually inspired by the natural beauty around her home.
